On Friday 11th of November, 3 of our students from our CPL/IR modular course were presented with their CPL bars after having successfully completed the first milestone of their training at FTEJerez.
Former Royal Air Force cadets Steven Barrett, Anthony Walsh and Nicholas Holman recently joined FTEJerez after the R.A.F. was forced to make compulsory redundancies due to the British government’s financial cutbacks. Aware of the unfortunate situation of these cadets, FTEJerez tailored a special training package for redundant RAF pilots wishing to continue their training as commercial pilots.
The newly qualified CPL pilots presented FTEJerez CFI Charles Auty with a framed collection of their squadron badges and expressed their thanks for the support and services provided by FTEJerez.
All 3 pilots have excelled throughout their course so far and are expected to complete their training, including a Jet Orientation Course, within the next few weeks.
