Air Baltic Chooses FTE

FTE is very proud to announce that Air Baltic has chosen FTE as their training partner. FTE is working with Air Baltic to select students for ab-initio training and the first student has commenced the course at Jerez. Additional students will commence training later this year and in 2009.

FTE is very excited about this new partnership and is looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Air Baltic.

MEA-FTE contract extended

FTE is very pleased to announce the extension of our current partnership with MEA for cadet selection as well as Ab Initio and JOC training.

The new extension will see FTE working alongside MEA during 2009.

Our relationship with MEA started in 2005, with the first course starting training in early 2006. To date, 28 MEA students have graduated from FTE.

Course 66 Graduation

Friday 27th June saw the graduation of course 66. Guest of honour for this graduation was Capt Nigel Francis, Head of Training of Zoom Airlines. This graduation included a student from Flybe as well as self sponsored students. Flybe´s student is currently at Jerez undertaking their JOC course prior to his type rating course on the aircraft to be designated by the Airline. FTE would like to thank Guests and families for attending the graduation

Flybe keep running interviews at FTE

FTE students will benefit from the upcoming visit next Thursday 28th and Friday 29th August by a delegation from Flybe . Members of the delegation will conduct interviews with a number of our students.

This visit further enhances the close relationship between FTE and Flybe. FTE is currently training students for Flybe under the MAPS programme. Additionally Flybe and FTE hold regular seminars at Flybe’s bases.

Presentation

Last Thursday 14th August Chris Tootell (BA) and Martin Bethell (DHL), both FTE graduates, did a presentation to all the students which were able to hear first hand about these pilots' experiences.

Course 67 Graduation

Friday the 25th July saw the graduation of course 67. Guest of honour for this graduation was Lt Col Juan Rafael Triguero de la Torre (22nd Air Force Group Commander) FTE would like to thank Guests and families for attending the graduation.
