Aer Lingus select FTEJerez as preferred flight training provider

Aer Lingus today announced its decision to appoint FTEJerez as the official flight training provider of its cadet pilots. At FTEJerez we are enormously proud to have been entrusted by Aer Lingus with the training of 20 of their future captains.

FTEJerez has a long standing relationship with Aer Lingus as some 10 years ago FTEJerez was also the airline’s choice to train its cadet pilots. In fact, the approximately 40 pilots that were trained then were the last ab initio training undertaken by the Irish flag carrier.

Tourism industry representatives visit FTEJerez

Last Tuesday over 30 business officials from the province’s tourism industry and relevant regional media visited Jerez International Airport’s facilities, including a site tour of the adjacent FTEJerez campus.

The group was lead by Jerez Airport’s General Manager, Mr Rafael de Reyna, and two senior representatives from the local council were amongst the attendees: Mr Francisco Cáliz, Council Delegate Economic Development, and Mr Antonio Real, Council Delegate Tourism, Culture and Festivities.
