As all training is delivered in English, sufficient written and oral English language is also a prerequisite.
FTEJerez will assess a cadet’s level of English as part of the selection process to ensure that students have the required standard for all elements of flight training.
Candidates must have English, Mathematics, and at least one science subject at Secondary Education level. Although not essential, Physics is highly desirable.
Minimum qualifications are five GCSE passes at level C or above and 2 A-levels at grade C or above or equivalents. A list of international equivalents can be found here.
For international applicants, please use your country's rating scale. Then, fill in the grades obtained when you last took that subject.
Holding a degree is not mandatory in order to become an airline pilot, nevertheless, please let us know if you have a third level qualification.
Candidates must be in good health and able to achieve the standard required for the EASA Class 1 medical examination, however, a Class 1 Medical is not required to book your assessment.
Also, please note that according to EASA regulations, on completion of training a pilot’s licence will be issued by the EASA state where the initial Class 1 was performed. This means that anyone wishing to hold an EASA licence issued by a specific national authority (i.e. UK CAA) must do their initial medical at the national authority’s aeromedical centre.
I hereby certify that the information provided in my application is correct to the best of my knowledge and understand that falsification of this information is grounds for refusal to invite me for assessments and acceptance on a training course, as it could render a future licence invalid.
I also understand that, should my application progress to the assessment stage, I will be required to present evidence of my academic certificates, licences and any other information with regard to any of the subjects covered by this application in order to proceed with the assessment stage. I authorise FTEJerez to request and receive such information.
