FTEJerez employs around 140 permanent staff to deliver training and all associated services.
All aspects of the package provided at Jerez are delivered by our own staff, with no elements outsourced to other organisations. As a consequence we have total control of the process from accommodation, meals, aircraft and simulator maintenance through to ground, flight and simulator training.
FTEJerez employs a team of fulltime ground training instructors, all of whom have wide experience in aviation and teaching. Our experienced full time flying instructors are mainly ex-military or ex-airline pilots who provide a core of experience around which less experienced, but still highly competent young instructors, combine. A standards department maintains a structured standardisation program in order to ensure the highest levels of safety and instructional competence. FTEJerez employs two full time ex-airline simulator instructors, supplemented by current and ex-airline captains, in its synthetic training area. All our instructors are EASA qualified.
In addition, a dedicated welfare officer and bilingual team assist students with travel, medical and other support they may require from time to time.
