If you are considering a career as an air traffic controller, your first step is to obtain the required licence to work as an ATC (Air Traffic Controller) in a control tower. For this purpose, FTEJerez has developed an intensive course that has successfully trained the next generation of controllers.
The course is designed in accordance with the Eurocontrol Common Core Content requirements and, over a period of 17 weeks, you will complete the Basic phase (theory), followed by the Rating phase, all delivered at our campus and using our state-of-the-art ATC simulators.
After successfully completing the Aerodrome ATC course, you will have the knowledge, skills and operational capability required to begin working in a real control tower.
From the moment you begin your training, after an assessment period by FTEJerez, your progress throughout the course will be continuously monitored. This monitoring not only ensures your training meets the highest standards required by the industry, but also enables us to provide personalised guidance, preparing you for your first job in a control tower.
From Jerez to Vigo, from the Canary Islands to the Balearic Islands, from Dublin to Dubai… controllers trained in Jerez have started their careers across the world with leading ATC service providers.
Even so, FTEJerez continues to work with national and international companies to offer the best opportunities to our graduates and to maintain its position as the leading ATC academy in employability.
Depending on the accommodation option you choose, the fees are:
