FTEJerez is marking the 10th anniversary of its long-standing partnership with SETU Ireland, previously known as IT Carlow, a collaboration that has become a cornerstone of our integrated flight training offering.
The partnership supports the delivery of the B.Sc. in Pilot Studies, combining academic education in Ireland with professional flight training at FTEJerez. Currently, more than 50 students are based at the Jerez campus, completing Year 2 and Year 3 of the degree, corresponding to ATPL ground school and advanced flying training. In parallel, 31 students are currently studying at the SETU Carlow campus, having started Year 1 in September and now approaching the completion of their first academic term.
Over the past decade, more than 200 students have graduated through this joint programme, reflecting its consistency, academic rigour and long-term success. The B.Sc. in Pilot Studies has received significant external recognition, including being ranked among the top three ATPL degree programmes in Europe by the independent Aviation School Ranking, and formal recognition by The Royal Aeronautical Society as a certified degree meeting its demanding academic standards.
