FTEJerez is proud to announce that all eight Kuwait Airways cadets from MPL Course 261 have successfully passed their Airbus A320 Type Rating Skills Tests at the first attempt, achieving a 100% first-time pass rate.

The result marks another significant milestone for the programme and reflects both the dedication of the cadets and the high standards maintained throughout their training journey.

Andy Mitchell, Head of Training at FTEJerez, who trained the cadets during the final phase of their preparation in the Madrid full-flight simulators, commented:

“I had the pleasure of training all these cadets in the Madrid full-flight simulators during the run-up to their licence skills tests. Their knowledge, skills and attitude were excellent. It is clear they have made the most of their training throughout the different MPL phases, and it is a real privilege to see how the training team has come together in promoting, training, and reinforcing industry best practices across multiple training platforms and environments.”

Having successfully completed their Type Rating Skills Tests, the cadets will now progress to Kuwait Airways’ operator conversion course before commencing line operations with the airline.

This latest achievement further demonstrates the effectiveness of the MPL training programme delivered by FTEJerez in partnership with Kuwait Airways, supporting the airline in preparing highly competent pilots for commercial operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Congratulations to all eight cadets on this outstanding achievement, and best wishes for the next stage of their careers with Kuwait Airways.
