BA CityFlyer cadets complete MPL training

with No Comments

In the latter half of 2012, BA CityFlyer selected FTEJerez to launch their Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) programme to train their future pilots. After excelling throughout their training, all 4 cadets successfully completed their advanced MPL training and have received their licences, now progressing towards their line training on BA CityFlyer’s modern fleet of Embraer Aircraft.

For many years now FTEJerez has been exclusively chosen as the training provider for BA CityFlyer. This latest training programme extends this longstanding relationship which has resulted in a large number of FTEJerez graduates flying with the airline.

The FTEJerez MPL syllabus has been approved by the UK CAA, whose first ever MPL course was successfully competed in Jerez. The MPL syllabus incorporates a large amount of simulator flying; specifically structured to develop the skills required of an airline pilot, in particular multi crew operations and threat and error management.

We would like to congratulate Charles, James, Joseph and Allen for their success in completing their course and wish them all the best in their future careers.
