Cookies Policy

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.

What are cookies?

No, not those small sweet baked cakes.

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site.

It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

Cookies

How do we use cookies?

We eat them. With milk.

Of course not. Not these ones at least. Cookies have many uses (e.g. to remember users' actions, to identify the user, for online behavioural advertising). When you google something or look for a flight or hotel room, you are receiving cookies. We use cookies in a responsible and simple way in two cases:

  • We use cookies if you apply for our courses or for airline selection processes or 'schemes' - and even then, not in all cases! We need to create a session when you log in, so the browser recognises you are online and you can log out. Just a security procedure to keep your data safe.
  • As thousands of other websites, we use Google Analytics. We want to know how many users visit our website in order to improve our information contents.

As you can see, in any of these cases we do not use third party cookies -Google Analytics used as we do is considered a first-party element. And more importantly, we do no track or use any personal information from your visit to sell you something you are not interested in, or for online behavioural advertising. We do not share information with other websites or third party companies.

How to control cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish -for details, click here. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
