Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, has restated its commitment to recruit Omani pilots by publishing detailed eligibility criteria and has selected FTEJerez as an official training provider.

The conditions are outlined to cover  self-sponsored (Ab-Initio Pilots).  Applicants for the self-sponsored (Ab-Initio Pilots) category will, if accepted, undergo the applicable pre-employment assessments provided by Oman Air’s appointed flying college.

After completion of  ‘FTEJerez´s Airline First Officer Programme’, all applicants will have to pass the Oman Air assessment process in order to join the airline.

FTEJerez Business Development Director, Frik Schoombee, mentioned that ‘naturally we are delighted to have been chosen by Oman Air as an official training provider. We view this as a further indication of the high esteem in which the international aviation community and a growing number of prominent international airlines hold FTEJerez and the quality training it delivers’.
