What are the minimum requirements?

• EASA Commercial Pilots Licence (current).
• Valid Instrument and Flight Instructor ratings.
• Class 1 Medical.
• 500 hrs flight time as PIC in airplanes, including at least 200 hrs of flight instruction.
• Non-native English speaking instructors must hold a valid ICAO ELP qualification at level 5 or 6.

Minimum Requirements & Preferred qualifications

• Experienced ground instructors required to teach any of the 14 ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects.
• Applicants should have considerable experience in teaching.
• Previous experience in commercial or military aviation and knowledge of the EASA/JAR ATPL syllabus would be an advantage.
• This is an opportunity for experienced former air crew or ground crew to deliver multimedia based instruction to ab-initio commercial pilots.
• We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise or a good knowledge of the subjects above and ideally the successful applicant should have experience in the planning and delivery of theoretical knowledge instruction to students who have little or no knowledge of the aviation industry. However, training can be given to an applicant who demonstrates flexibility and keen willingness to learn new skills.
• All instruction is given in English and therefore a high level of written and spoken English is required.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)

FTEJerez has a permanent opportunity in Jerez de La Frontera, Spain for a B1.2, B2 or B3 licensed engineer to work at a well-established company carrying out base maintenance on light aircraft.

The company runs a large fleet of PA28, PA34 and DA42 and is looking for an experienced B1.2/B2/B3 engineer who preferably holds the full type rating and recency on Group 3 aircraft (including composite structures).

The ideal licensed engineer will need to be hardworking, self-motivated and ambitious. The company has long-term growth plans for the future and needs engineers who can develop with them. Previous experience working on the PA28 or DA42 is required.

In order to apply for this licensed position you must hold the following

• EASA Part-66 B1.2, B2 or B3 License
• Type rating on Group 3 aircraft, namely PA28, PA34, DA42, Slingsby T67 and Robin 2160i
• 5 years general aviation experience with a least 2 years certifying experience

Flying Programme Manager.

This is a new, non-flying permanent appointment based at FTE's campus at Jerez International Airport in Andalucia, south west Spain. The Flying Programme Manager will report directly to the Head of Operations for the School's daily flying programme and will be a member of the Operations Management Team. The initial scope of the job is as follows: finalising and issuing the daily flying programme 5 days/week; direct management of training for students in the run-up to the Instrument Rating Skills Test; responsibility for the allocation of students to flying instructors on a weekly basis; monitoring the delivery of the flying programme; & the preparation of monthly briefs on the School's training output. It is anticipated that the scope of the job will develop in light of experience. Candidates should have wide experience in an aviation operations environment. They should have the ability to plan a complex flying programme and to interact successfully with a large number of flight instructors and students in a busy and dynamic flight training school.

Essential:

• Flight Operations management experience
• Proven experience in personnel management
• English language minimum standard ICAO 5

Desirable:

• Experience as a flight instructor
• Commercial flying experience as operating pilot/crew
• Experience as a military aircrew instructor (pilot, navigator or WSO)
