FTEJerez, official preferred supplier for the new Speedbird Pilot Academy, welcomes you to the training initiative for BA's future captains.

Fully-funded places for the Speedbird Pilot Academy will be available here at FTEJerez.

Together with BA, FTEJerez will be selecting and training people from diverse backgrounds through a fully-funded programme. If successful, you will join FTEJerez at our campus in Jerez, Spain, and train towards a UK CAA ATPL licence, which will be the first step of a fantastic career with British Airways, the UK's flag carrier.

FTEJerez & BA: A History together

FTEJerez has been associated with British Airways for nearly 30 years since the school's origins as British Aerospace Flight Training in Prestwick, Scotland.

Prior to September 2001, FTEJerez provided ab-initio pilot training for British Airways' Trainee Entry Pilot scheme. FTEJerez was proud to be chosen once again by BA in 2012 as one of its cadet pilot training providers for the BA Future Pilot Programme.

Moving forward, we are excited to retake this journey together and continue to provide the best training and education to future generations of BA pilots through the British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy.

FTEJerez is one of the leading and most exclusive flight training organisations in the world, specialising in ab initio ATPL training programmes for aspiring pilots and airline cadets. If selected to train in Jerez, you will be joining future pilots on campus from other IAG airlines such as Aer Lingus, BA Cityflyer, Iberia and Vueling, as well as a diverse and international mix of self-sponsored students.

You will complete integrated ATPL training in line with our Airline First Officer Programme, one of the most successful and exclusive integrated training routes for aspiring Airline Pilots.
